Machu Picchu, Peru
The 15th-century Inca citadel of Machu Picchu sits on a ridge above the Urubamba valley in the Peruvian Andes. The 4K virtual tour moves from the Sun Gate at Inti Punku across the agricultural terraces to the Temple of the Sun, with Huayna Picchu rising behind — an immersive way to walk a place most people only ever see in photographs.
Petra, Jordan
Petra — the rose-red city carved into the cliffs of southern Jordan — is captured in immersive 3D180/360 VR, from the narrow Siq to the towering façade of the Treasury and on to the Monastery. With a headset the scale of the Nabataean stonework is breathtaking; flat in 4K it's still one of the great walks on earth.
Chichén Itzá, Mexico
The Maya city of Chichén Itzá on Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula is filmed in stereoscopic 3D180 VR — El Castillo (the Temple of Kukulcán), the Great Ball Court, the Temple of the Warriors and the Sacred Cenote, all in 4K depth.
More wonders to come
This is the start of Global Walk's New Seven Wonders collection. As the remaining wonders are filmed — the Colosseum, the Taj Mahal, Christ the Redeemer and the Great Wall — they'll appear here automatically, each keeping the same Global Walk discipline: stabilized 4K, a real walking pace, and only the natural sound of the place.
